New Lichen Species and Records from the Chapada dos Guimarães, Mato Grosso, Brazil

Three species of lichens are described as new from the Chapada dos Guimarães in Mato Grosso (Brazil): Astrothelium muriconicum Aptroot & M.F.Souza, sp. nov. which is first core group genus, A. conicum-group, with muriform ascospores; Gassicurtia lopesiana M.F.Souza Aptroot, characterized by red apothecium margins and lichexanthone thallus; G. pruinosa has brown pruinose, UV+ green discs less pigmantation. A further 191 reported to state Grosso, 14 reports Brazil.
